Just like Rahu, Ketu also represents illusion as both are illusionary planets but the difference is that Ketu is also the one who removes the illusion and brings enlightenment. Gemini is the 3rd sign of zodiac belt, so it represents many things related with 3rd house of horoscope like, Communication Skills (either written, oral or even by sign language), Marketing, Business etc. It is a sign basically related with communications and business ideas. Gemini is divided into 2 and half nakshatra of Mrigashira, Ardra and Punarvasu. Gemini's lord is Mercury, which is significator of Communications.
Recently I have come across of the view that Rahu and Ketu don't have aspects on 5th or 9th house, for the simple reason that they are shadow planets and for aspects you need a sight not shadow. I am yet to verify it on at least 50 charts, so for now I will continue with traditional approach of 5th and 9th aspects of Ketu.
When Ketu is in Gemini, a person feels a natural separation from Communication, Business and Marketing etc. It is because Ketu is what you have already mastered in past-life, so these people have mastered communications already and don't want to spend any further time on it. As Ketu is a head-less body, they can be direction-less in their communications. Same with Business and Marketing, they won't get a sound business idea as Gemini has a head-less Ketu there. In marketing of any product, they will show no interest. But like in any other position of Ketu, if they are given such works again and again, their past-life expertise will come into fore and they will do well. They may also not like to travel much. But they can be fond of reading and collecting information.
Now, where does these things differ for different people born with Ketu in Gemini. It depends on the Nakshtra Ketu is placed in. So, if Ketu is in Mrigshira Nakshatra, then it will be impacted by Mars as Mars is its lord. If Ketu is in Ardra Nakshatra, then it is impacted by Rahu as Rahu is Ardra's lord. If Ketu is in Punarvasu Nakshatra, then we need to check Jupiter's position.
Sign lord wise, Mercury is lord of Gemini. So, to really assess results of Ketu in Gemini, we need to see how Mercury is placed.
