Importance of Moon in Horoscope.
In Astrology, all 9 planets (considering Uranus, Neptune and Pluto don't find their place in Vedic Astrology) have their important functions and impacts on human life but one planet which can make lots of difference in the way a human being lives his life on earth is Moon. It is highly important to have good placement of Moon in horoscope to live a good life and reasons are as follows -
1. 1st of all Moon represents your mother. So, if Moon is well placed (best sign placement for Moon is in Taurus though it does well in many other friendly signs too), then you are blessed with a very spiritual mother. Mother instils all good moral values in a child and makes him/her spiritual. When Moon is strong in horoscope, it shows that your mother has laid down the strong basic foundation of morals, spirituality and family values, which is impossible to be broken in this lifetime.
2. Moon also represents emotions. Lots of things are said these days about being practical and not emotional but just think if you are not emotional, you may end up in slitting someone's throat without feeling any pain of that person. A weak Moon in horoscope can make someone a criminal because that person is not able to feel the pain of his victim. If you want to confirm this then google search for horoscopes of Adolph Hitler, Mussolini, Saddam Hussein, Colonel Gaddafi and any dictator type of person and you will find that Moon is badly damaged for all of these people, making them insensitive of the feelings and emotions of other people.
3. Moon also represents our mind and this is where it becomes very important to have a good Moon in horoscope. It is not that people with good Moon will never suffer any pain in life but they will learn from every mistake done by them. They will never repeat a mistake. People with Moon's bad placement never realize the basic reason of their sufferings and where they are doing mistake and they will continue to do it again and again.
4. House-wise, best placement for Moon is 7th house. 7th house is basically a house of spouse but it is also a house of other people around you. Everyone around you, from a beggar at a temple to anyone you meet on street. As Moon represents emotions, Moon in 7th house (if sign placement is also good) shows that you are sensitive towards feelings of others and you take care of others' convenience too. You don't turn a blind eye for the pains and sufferings of others
One thing which can be done to improve Moon's position is Meditation.
