Transit of Mars in Scorpio in 2025

Mars is all set to make its next move in annual transits in the sign of Scorpio. Let's check what we can expect during this transit –

1. Mars will be in Scorpio sign from 27^th Oct, 2025 to 7^th Dec, 2025.

2. Mars will be in its own sign Scorpio, hence dignity-wise, it will be strong. But it doesn't mean that it will be a smooth sailing for Mars in Scorpio.

3. Scorpio is sign of instability, ups & downs and chaos. That's why it is not a good home for any planet because none wants to be in the state of panic and chaos. So, instability will be there but let's see how Mars can help us in Scorpio -

a. As Mars represents actions and efforts, our actions can go into dealing with instabilities and chaos related with things of the house where Scorpio falls in our chart. Like for a Gemini ascendant, they can be dealing with instabilities of their health and daily work life whereas a Sagittarius ascendant can deal with instabilities of their expenses and losses.

b. As Scorpio remains a sign of research and investigation, people can be research oriented and would be eager to know what is hidden from them. As Scorpio also represents past events, some truths can come-up from past and people can be in better position to comprehend things in a right way.

c. As Scorpio remains the sign of occult and mysticism, people can be very active in researching and understanding occult side of life. We can see a rise in people who are interested in occult and mystical knowledge. Basically, it can be said that people can be interested in any kind of research-oriented knowledge. It can also bring some mystical events for people who are pursuing spiritual/mystical side of life.

d. At the same time, Mars in Scorpio can also represent accidents, sudden events, surgeries and explosive events (either outward or inward). So, we need to be cautious against such events and safeguard ourselves from outward transformations.

e. So, instability and chaos of Scorpio will remain as is, there is no respite from it but as Mars is in own sign, it will provide will-power, courage and strength to deal with this unstable energy of Scorpio. We will show tenacity to go through that instability in life.

4. Now, there are some joint impacts also taking place with this transit. It is important to understand them also –

i. The biggest impact will be on Scorpio itself because not only Mars is going to transit in Scorpio but Mercury is already there and will go retrograde in Scorpio only. This means that throughout Mars in Scorpio transit, Mercury will accompany it. This is not a good combination as Mercury-Mars are great enemies. It shows possibility of accidents, sudden events, conflicts, anger, aggressive speech etc which leads to major changes or instability in life.

ii. Very soon Sun will join them in Scorpio on 16^th Nov and Venus will also follow the bandwagon on 26^th Nov. So, there will be a time of about 10-12 days when at least 4 planets will be transiting Scorpio sign. This looks like too much of energy accumulation for a difficult sign like Scorpio.

iii. Needless to say that Jupiter will also be aspecting Scorpio from Cancer sign with its 5^th aspect. Jupiter represents expansion. So, it can expand the results of Sun-Mercury-Venus-Mars in Scorpio.

iv. Now, it depends on person’s evolution level as to how they are using the energy of Scorpio. If someone is using in facilitating instability in own or other’s life then Jupiter’s aspect will further expand those instabilities. If someone is utilizing the same Scorpio energy in mystical or spiritual side then Jupiter will expand that too. If someone is interested in research-oriented side then Jupiter can expand research-oriented knowledge too. Jupiter can expand anything which you engage yourself in.

v. Also, Jupiter’s 5^th aspect is all about gaining knowledge, guidance and counselling. So, it will be a good idea to become aware of the ways to deal with this transit in an evolved way. I would suggest people to involve themselves in spiritual or mystical side of life to have spiritual evolution. Another good use will be in gaining research-oriented knowledge.

vi. If someone pursues meditation or other spiritual acts then this transit can bring mystical/spiritual experiences too.

vii. Another major malefic impact will be on Aquarius where Rahu is transiting and Mars will be aspecting with its 4^th aspect. Rahu-Mars combo in Saturn ruled Aquarius can be stressful and frustrating due to their opposite nature; i.e. Rahu-Mars being Quick/Aggressive and Saturn being Slow. As always, we have to bow down to Saturn eventually and persevere with our actions to get any good result of the house where Aquarius falls into chart.

viii. Another malefic impact will be on Taurus as Mars from Scorpio and Saturn from Pisces will aspect there. Mars-Saturn together again indicate stress or frustration due to their opposite nature. So, people can see stress and frustration or push & pull energy in area of life where Taurus falls in chart. If people are dominating/controlling in that area of life and has no idea how to deal with that area of life then problematic events can come-up. The way-out is again bowing down to Saturn; i.e. have patience and perseverance to deal with this area of life.

ix. Mars most difficult aspect will be in Gemini sign. So, wherever Gemini sign falls in chart, we can see lots of instabilities as it is 8^th aspect of Mars.

x. As we can see that this transit of Mars can be all about dealing with instabilities and changes in life. More we are aware, better we can handle it. If Mars is transiting Dushthana Houses or in 4^th house (where it loses the directional strength), things can be more difficult and higher degree of awareness can be needed.

So, this is what I see as result of Mars in Scorpio transit. End result is obviously dependent on overall chart, dasha and other transits.
