Ketu in Ashwini Nakshatra
The
first one of Ketu through Nakshatras, i.e. Ketu in Ashwini Nakshatra.
Let’s
look at important things here –
Ketu
– Ketu represents Isolation, Separation, Spirituality, Mystical World, Other
Dimension means things related to Alien World. It also represents Son, Dog,
Intuition, Research Ability, Curious Nature, things which we have already
achieved in past life and not much concerned to perform in this life.
Ashwini
– Ashwini is 1st nakshatra, so it
comes with the nature of pro-activeness and be first everytime. It is also
nakshatra of Healers or Doctors as its deity is Ashwini Kumars, the
metaphysical healers. It is also nakshatra of illusion, cheating and confusion.

Aries
– As Ashwini is part of Aries, Aries
sign and its representations become important here. Aries is the 1st sign of
zodiac belt, so it represents the things and energy of 1st house of horoscope
like Self, Personality etc. Besides that, Aries is the sign of our
individuality, our aggression, our actions, our competitive ability etc. Aries
is ruled by Mars and it is consisted of 2 and half Nakshatras named Ashwini,
Bharani and Krittika.
Mars
– As Mars rules Aries, Mars’ position
and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning of any planet in
Aries.
Ketu
– Likewise as Ketu rules Ashwini,
Ketu’s position and dignity is important to know about the overall functioning
of any planet in Ashwini
Houses
Involved – Also, we can’t afford to forget
the houses involved as a planet can be ruling different houses and sitting in
different house for every person as per ascendant and planet’s position. To
know overall affect, we have to consider the houses involved as those areas of
life are being impacted.
Interpretation
of Ketu in Ashwini Nakshatra –
When Ketu is in Ashwini Nakshatra, it is in sign of Mars and own nakshatra. Ashwini
is nakshatra of metaphysical healers, occult etc. Ketu represents research,
investigation and alternate ways of healing etc. It shows that they can be
naturally good at occult & metaphysics. It is like they have past-life
expertise over occult related things. They can also be very good at healing
others, especially through alternate ways of healing. Even if they don't want
to pursue it professionally, it will remain an innate ability with them. They
can be interested in medical profession too, more being a Surgeon & in
veterinary side of practice. They can be naturally good at any kind of research
oriented activities. They may like to serve animals, especially horses.
As
Ketu itself represents separation, split, break-up etc, if Ketu is getting
involved in relationship matters in a chart, it is never a good placement.
Person will be feeling separated in relationship either physically or mentally
or both ways. This will bring a tug-of-war kind of result where they may feel
separated when they are in relationship but when they are single, they may
desire relationship. So, Ketu in relationship matters in any chart is difficult.
Overall,
this is a good position for research in metaphysics & healing activity.
Role
of Mars – Mars's placement is important to
guide Ketu in right direction, being Aries's lord..
Role
of Ketu – As we are trying to interpret Ketu
only, we need not to see Ketu's placement separately being Ashwini's lord.
Other
Factors – And of course, we need to consider
conjunction, aspects, house lordship, house position and dashas etc to know the
exact results of Ketu in Ashwini.
Conclusion
– So, this is how I see Ketu in
Ashwini can work in a chart.
